BEVER-LEIGH BANFIELD's captivating vocals have been heard in oodles of national TV and radio commercials, among them Chevrolet, Federal Express, McDonald’s, Levi’s, KFC, Greyhound, Jockey For Her, Schweppe’s, Bank One and Crescent Jewelers. Ms. Banfield, an M.F.A. from the Yale School of Drama, has performed nationally as an ABC-TV network announcer and narrator of such films as Disney’s “Great Women of America”. Bev has voiced a variety of cartoon characters in TV series such as “Scooby Doo”, “The Smurfs” and “The Pound Puppies”, having begun her voice over career as The Mayor of Bedrock in “The Flintstone Kids” and “Captain Caveman”. She stars as Georgia in the animated film, “The Little Engine That Could”, and is enjoyed in movie trailers and promos. She currently live narrates three different planetarium shows - "Centered In The Universe", "Water Is Life" and "Light of the Valkyries - at L.A.'s world-famous Griffith Observatory. Bever-leigh has an extensive resume as a TV, film and stage actress, having starred, co-starred and guest starred in many TV dramas and sitcoms, been featured in movies, and performed on Broadway and off, and in regional and repertory theatre productions, contemporary and classical. Bever-leigh's face continues to be familiar in on-camera TV commercials, most recently McDonald's, Yoplait, Best Buy, KitchenAid, Altoids and Alfa Insurance. Ms. Banfield is also a published writer, DGA director and video producer, She loves hiking, sewing, painting, gardening and designing jewelry.
