BEVER-LEIGH's captivating vocals have been heard in many national TV and radio commercials for such brands as Chevrolet, FedEx, McDonald’s, Levi’s, KFC, Bank One, Greyhound, Jockey For Her and Schweppes. She holds an M.F.A. from the Yale School of Drama, and has been an ABC-TV national network announcer and narrator of TV movies, including Disney’s Great Women of America. She began her voice over career as The Mayor of Bedrock in The Flintstone Kids and Captain Caveman and has gone on to voice a variety of cartoon characters in other TV series, among them Scooby Doo, The Smurfs and The Pound Puppies. Bev stars as Georgia in the animated film, The Little Engine That Could and narrates the planetarium star shows Centered In The Universe, Water Is Life, Light of the Valkyries and Signs of Life at LA's landmark Griffith Observatory. Bever-leigh has an extensive on-camera resume in TV and film as well, having starred, co-starred and guest starred in numerous TV dramas and sitcoms. She has also been featured in movies and performed on Broadway, and has appeared in on-camera TV commercials, most recently McDonald's, Yoplait, Best Buy, KitchenAid and Altoids. Ms. Banfield is also a published writer and audiobook narrator, and has recently narrated her own popular non-fiction book You Can Change the World.
